I'm Lee Hassig, founder of Cybrations. Greetings, and thanks for visiting. Let me tell you a little about me and my company. I established Cybrations after a rewarding career at Time-Life Books, where I began many years ago as a researcher. I soon became a writer, then a text editora combination substantive and developmental editor responsible for individual volumes in Time Life book series. Ultimately, I rose to series editor. With the help of many excellent collaborators, I kept some of the company's most demanding products on topic, on schedule, and on budget. Among the series I edited was Understanding Computers, a history of computers and computing that also explained everything from logic gates to how word-processing software works. I also edited Home Repair and Improvement, a comprehensive collection of nuts-and-bolts, how-to books. (Resume) Through Cybrations, I can now offer this experience and expertise to the editorial world beyond Time Life. If the goal for your project is clear, lively, and persuasive prose, with or without illustration, you've come to the right place. Although Cybrations emphasizes writing and editing, we also excel at taking editorial projects from concept to final electronic files, ready to publish in print or on the Web. Small writing and editing jobs I handle personally. For grander endeavorsdesigning and producing an entire book, for exampleI call on a roster of editorial craftsfolk, many of them former Time-Lifers. In the arena of words and books, they are unexcelled and rarely equaled. We are dedicated to producing top-quality work. For that reason, we accept only a handful of projects a year and give each our undivided attention. If Cybrations sounds like the place you've been looking for, give us a shout. I'm certain you won't be disappointed.
